Commercial Pilot Marcus Favero
Chief Pilot and CEO of Liftin' Spirits VA has been in to balloons for many years and loves the joy of taking flight. Marcus was born and raised in Albuquerque New Mexico. Marcus enjoys teaching others about this amazing hobby and spending time with his family. Marcus has flown in competitions and events through out the United States. While he is not conducting rides you can find him giving instruction to student pilots. Marcus has many flight hours and experience flying hot air balloons. You can find his balloon in some publications and photographs from the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta held each year in New Mexico. This event is the largest balloon gathering in the world.
About the Liftin' Spirits Name
Liftin' Spirits name came from a very special place in our families heart. Both of our fathers Robert (Bob) Favero and Daniel (Danny) Inge absolutely loved ballooning in general. Danny was actually a balloon inspector back in the day. Bob never missed a chance to photograph balloons. Karen Jackson who was a lifelong friend of ours. She visited during The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta as often as she could and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately not one of these three extraordinary people got to see this dream of ours come to fruition. So now we LIFT their SPIRITS with us on every flight and toast to them every time we land with a SPIRIT in hand! Hence.... we are "Liftin' Spirits".
